Himalayan bath salts are embedded with 84 unique minerals, more than any other salt type. Minerals such as bromide, calcium, magnesium, and potassium are absorbed through the skin to revitalize, replenish, and rejuvenate your body. These minerals have lain dormant in the salt of an ancient ocean bed for 250 million years, until now.

These natural salts have been shown to boost your immune and nervous systems, focus your mind, relieve stress, relieve water retention, and restore a healthy balance of calcium in your body—strengthening your nails and skeleton. The potassium in our bath salts refuels your body after exercise and heals damaged, dry skin cells, revealing younger-looking, softer skin.
Ingredients: Pure fair trade Himalayan salt.
Directions: Use 2 to 4 ounces in a typical tub. Use up to 1 lb. in larger tubs, or depending on your preference. Fine grains dissolve nearly instantly, while coarse is a slow release. Typically use 1 to 2 crystal rocks per tub, and up to 8 based on tub size and preference. Crystal rocks are typically used for longer term storage (no clumping or caking if you use infrequently), and will dissolve in your tub relatively slowly.
Our crystal stones & coarse bath salts also work well for aromatherapy: Place these Fair Trade Himalayan salt crystals in a plastic, resealable bag. Add half an ounce of your favorite scented essential oils and shake the bag well. Let it sit overnight. The next day, place these crystals in a glass bowl wherever you wish. Once a month add more oil and move around the salt crystals. You won't believe the benefits of the ions released, while breathing deeply your favorite aroma. Can also be used during bathing. Do not consume internally. Keep out of reach of animals and small children.

Soaking Therapy
Soaking therapy provides a wonderful alternative to traditional heat and cold therapy for those who prefer a more spa-like experience. Soaking therapy with Himalayan salt bath soaks is a mixture of hydrotherapy and mineral baths, designed to provide relaxation while also working towards relieving pain, swelling and inflammation. Hydrotherapy, formerly called hydropathy and also called water cure, is a part of alternative medicine, in particular of naturopathy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy, that involves the use of water for pain relief and treatment. The term encompasses a broad range of approaches and therapeutic methods that take advantage of the physical properties of water, such as temperature and pressure, for therapeutic purposes, to stimulate blood circulation and treat the symptoms of certain diseases.
We recommend utilizing both soaking therapy with our Himalayan bath soaks and traditional heat and cold therapy with our Himalayan salt pillows for optimal results.
Food Grade Salt
If you’ve tried them, you’re already familiar with the wonderful flavor our gourmet salt products bring to your favorite dishes. What you might not know, though, is that all of the salt used in both our gourmet products, all of our bath & body products, and each therapeutic product comes from our inspected food grade facility, while our lamps, candle holders and other decorative products are produced in an adjacent, separate, facility specializing in decorative crafts. We sample each lot of food grade salt used in both the bath & body and gourmet products and have it analyzed and certified for content to ensure we can guarantee our standards of quality and safety in both of these product categories.
What this means, in short, is that whether you buy our gourmet products or our bath products, you’re receiving salt from a hygienic environment, and can use either product type both against your skin or for edible consumption. Each of our handcrafted products that includes our fair trade Himalayan salt, such as deodorant powders, soaks, or tooth powders, also makes use of only food grade salt.
